Project Overview
In 2020, Snowed In Trend needed several prints designed. Our internal teams were at capacity and we still needed to keep on track with seasonal deadlines, so we reached out to a few print studios to perfect a collection of prints. Kroger commissioned Paper & Cloth Studio to design a collection of prints for several holiday assortments.
This collection of designs has a nod to Scandinavian towns, reindeer, and illustrated with a painterly tone.
Below is a brief overview of the style-guide of how I art directed this project.
Style Guide Guidelines
Below are a few images to reference for artwork hand and typography direction. We would like the following 10 art directed pieces to be in the same hand so that they sit together as a collection. The antler image is attached because we like how the antlers are defined through the use of shading with the watercolor. It doesn’t feel flat and has some depth to the shape.

This Snowed In Scandinavian inspired print collection for 2020 was used on wrapping paper, gift bags, decor, rolled throws, flannel sheets, as well as a tabletop and textiles programs.
